A slip of a trip

Down to Baja on the 3rd and had a ball...............More folks than we expected and the border road off ramp was a mess but we lucked into the proper ramp and got around all of the traffic mess thanks to my pool guy who lives 1/2 the time in Rosarito...Stayed at the Pryamid as the guests of Keri and Mike...just so wonderful folks....Pig roast at Angels with my lady and about 150 other Baja lovers.....Missed one guy who is there all the time--at least that is what he wishes others to believe--forget that..........food was great, 12th annual pig roast and the kids who took over from their parents did great.

Met a ton of old friends....if Jaime didn't know them I did and she soon did.

I do believe that this is one of the last real Baja hold outs in all of Baja Norte. Forget the smoke and the grass and you find wonderful, connected people.

Took a bunch of food but never cooked it.......Most of the usual restaurants......but then a standout new one La Bambas...south end of Rosarito--about opposite the used to be Fox Studios...

Sadly, because of the killings, missed getting past the street closures by seconds and ended up at Otay Mesa...Total time 5 hours.............but, hey! with Jaime in the car it seemed as mere minutes.......What a gal!

You got it David!

And yes, it was the Angels just south of La Salina..........The damn marina sure made it more difficult to visit the fun place.
