I'm sorry to hear that. We only met he and his lovely wife, once, in person and they are delightful. We will be in Cantu for just a few days and
won't have time to see very many people - just wanted to say hi. I'll wave at you, Bajabound, if you're looking toward the ocean and the tide is out.

It gets worse! I went in to do a search for one of his old
"Pearls of Wisdom", only to discover that there are just 25 Hose A posts remaining on the entire site! To me, that really drives home the fact that his departure was permanent.  Alas, gone, but not forgotten!
