Good Road most of the time....Just go very, very slow on the steep parts at the first sections going down to sea level. Would not attempt towing any kind of a large trailer. It is graded and maintained from time to time on an unregular basis. You can usually find out what condition it will be in by stopping in Loreto and inquiering around. Ask local mexican fisherman in the marina. Great spot. Have fun ++C++

Haven't been down since Norberto and haven't heard any reports. He took a swing south of Loreto and could have caused some damage on the road. Enough people live down there that it has to be kept passable-------just what the definition of passable is right now I don't know. Sorry. No current info.

I imagine there is some serious damage to the road...but the best thing is to ask at the ranch/restaurant at the entrance...I'm sure it's passable though with extreme caution. Have a blast and give our love to Martin Amador(lives in the village before Agua Verde) ...the local cop there...he's a good guy to ask to get you a nice lamb or chivito to BBQ! Heck, they will even kill, prep and cook it for ya...real yummmy.
