Baja Expedition Van for sale

Selling my 78 Ford F350 4x4. I built this rig up to take the family around Baja and sometimes tow my Explorer.

$1,950 has 35" BFG Allterrains up front and some off name mud terrains in back. The van is registered in South Dakota.

Things just added:

Swapped in a newer 460 motor from a 91 truck.
Rebuilt the transmission (3 speed C6)
Carburetor rebuilt.
New interior sound proofing and carpet
New seats, rear seat that folds down to make a bed.
Private area in back for Porti potty.
Radiator rebuilt.
410 differential gears
Rebuilt steering box.
Added dual steering stabilizers.
Converted the rear axle to disc brakes.
Heavy duty differential cover on the front Dana 44

Needs:
AC needs to be recharged.
The second gas tank is missing. Main tank is 25-28 Gals.

I built this up as a go anywhere rig to explore Baja. I wanted to have everything strong and reliable but I didn't want it to stand out too much (Pizza insurance  )

Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

Mick,

This is Chris - the guy that drove the Ford Explorer on the Pole Line Road with us that time. Chris lives right across the border in the Soler section of Tijuana - as you head up that long hill heading towards Playas de Tijuana, before you drop down that steep hill (going south) before you link up with the road leading directly to Playas de Tijuana and Hwy 1.

On Saturday, the crew and I rolled past your house. I saw the van parked out front, and I'm going to miss you not having it. You should keep this truck for yourself, don't give it away so cheaply. :!:
