Last 2 days for book discount; NGM Baja maps cheap
Nomads,
I'm selling my book for $22.50 (25% off) for two more days--until midnight on the 31st. Then it goes back to $29.95.
Also, I've got the new National Geographic Baja maps in stock, and I'll have the website set up to sell them within a day or two.
When bundled with a copy of the book, a single map (Norte or Sur) will be $8 ($11.95 MSRP). Both maps together will be $14 ($19.95 MSRP) when bought
with the book.
For those who have already bought the book through my website, the same discount is available retroactively. Watch for an email within a week or so
containing what amounts to a "discount code" that you can use to buy the maps for $8 each or $14 for both.
Maps without the book will be MSRP, but shipping is free on regular-price map orders.
And hey, thanks, sincerely, to everybody who's bought the book and thanks even more to everybody who's recommended it to friends...

Hey, thanks for the public thank-you. I hate getting gouged on shipping as much as the next guy.
Incidentally, I'm ramping up right now to launch an online store carrying a small, smart selection of hand-chosen, Baja-specific tackle and boating
gear. Same personal service, same good prices and no-gouge shipping, and still no sales tax.
Not a big deal for you SoCal folks, but hopefully very helpful for Baja fishermen coming from elsewhere who don't want to find their way to the tackle
shops in San Diego, or deal with the arrogant teenagers who seem to staff most of them, or try to sift through 50 colors and 20 sizes of plastic
swimbaits or an entire wall of jigs to find the few they actually need.
The other appeal, I hope, will be that I'll carry only solid, proven gear--stuff you really need, not every weird new $25 lure to come down the pike.
And I'll cover how and when to use what.
I'll post a reminder when Transpeninsular Outfitters is up and running. Should be by the end of January.
