HAPPY DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TO 48 STATES!

It is Sunday, March 8 and in the United States (except Arizona and Hawaii) clocks have moved ahead 'Spring Ahead' one hour... allowing many to have an extra hour of daylight after work... You lost an hour, but will get it back in November.

On Baja Nomad, to adjust the time of posts to match with true time where you are, go to the top of the page and click 'Control Panel/ Options'... then 'Edit Profile' and scroll down the page to find the time zone setting...

If you are in California (normally Pacific Time), you want to change that to Mountain Time....

Mexico (except Sonora, to match Arizona) changes next month (when we used to).

Interseting on how Canada stays in sinc with us (NAFTA?), but Mexico didn't... Daylight savings didn't even exist in Mexico (in non border states) years ago.

If we didn't stay in sinc, can you imagine the confusion with flight schedules? DST makes perfect economic sense besides that it gives the 'worker' an extra hour fun after work, provided they have a day-job.

That darn o was missing all the time. Laptop needs cleaning.

I always set my clock ahead a decade or two when entering the USA. What's an hour down here in Mexico? An hour late or early is still pretty much on-time.

Don't we 'fall back' at the end of October? Or, did that change also?

Good thing they don't change.

Can you imagine how difficult it would be for the Kidnappers to stay in Sync Juggling DST, MST and Mex time ?

They'd be whacking victims all the time because they "Thought" the ransom didn't arrive on time.

Does anybody really know what time it is.... ?

Time Change Leaves Tijuana, San Diego 1 Hour Apart

http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/Border-One-Hour-Separa...

"But Baja California will not make the shift until the first Sunday in April, meaning that clocks south of the border will remain on Pacific Standard Time for the next four weeks. Starting Sunday, the local time in Tijuana is one hour later than it is in San Diego."

wtf? one hour later? nope.
