Baja Nomad Tee Shirts

Will the Tienda be selling anymore Nomad tee shirts or tank tops in XL or XXL? We would order if they become available.

I have an XL,
love it dearly,
might be persuaded to part with it for about $100 (US)
and, it comes with all those keen salsa stains from too many feeesh tacos.

ps. I think Doug is just teasing us by continuing to list this in tienda with the bright red "out of stock" memo

When something special about Baja becomes available... you need to get it fast!

My 'got baja?' hats were a limited run deal, and we mailed out hundreds of them and 'got baja?' stickers... Now, they are both all gone.

I think Doug didn't anticipate how popular his web site and t shirts would be... :light:

So, what's stopping you from ordering more inventory? You know you can more than cover the costs.

You asking me about that hats or asking Doug about the shirts?

The hats were for fun... a lot of work shipping them out and you can't ask too much dinero for a hat, IMO. So, not worth the effort to do again... and it made the couple hundred we sent out more special, I think.

Doug, well I have hounded him all I can... I told him to ask you guys to pre-pay so he has the financing to order the shirts again... All the mail-order companies do it ("allow 2-6 weeks for delivery" etc.) You send in your money, they know how many to make and have the money to make it... Also, you can trust Doug... he is a man of honor and honesty.

Anyway... I think you all who want shirts should send him the money... then he won't have any excuses for not ordering more... !!

I like the pre-pay idea, David. No downside.

Maybe do a pre-paid order once a year or once every 2 years.

Wouldn't have to deal with it all year long and then some of us newbies can get one.....or 4!

Since we'll need one to wear now and another good one to wear later when the first one gets too trashed to wear out for a nice night on the town, I'd better order 6....

and I bet my neighbors, and fellow Baja travelers, would want a couple.....

and our other friends who just got back from Puerto Vallarta...

and Christmas presents for the family.........

(uh-ho....I'd better see if I can raise my credit card limit!)

There is another option. I realize Doug has certain proprietary rights. But would he be interested in a licensing agreement. I know of a few folks who make and sell tees. That would take all the hassle out of it. Just let the vendor do all the work and sell on the site.

It sometimes helps if we point him where to look!

Doug knows I am his biggest fan and want him to be successful... and it is in our interests as Nomads to help him keep this great forum alive and well... There are others, but none with so much going for it and an active host to keep it going!

Left to right, Nov. 2006: David K, BajaNomad, & BajaCactus at our Viva Baja Cactus dinner in Tijuana where we presented a surprised Doug with an award (Doug and I both have on Baja Nomad tee shirts):
