Mood: Have Baja Fever

[*] posted on 6-11-2004 at 06:16 PM

Hi Glenn and los Nomads, tonight (Fri.) I will plan on being on the PC at 9 pm. The WebTV (my personal favorite way to surf the 'net) does not work with the chat server Doug is using. I don't think there are very many WebTVers, but when I find a chat server that does work Doug offered to make the change... very kind for the few of us. Hasta las nueve!

I use AOL. I tried it with my pop up blocker on and then off. I would type and then hit say button and I would see nothing, then I would type and hit the act button and it would disappear...Leaving in 6 hours to baja... and I still can't get off this site:biggrin:

I popped in right after Whistler posted at 10:36pm, nobody there. But, when I went to close down I saw that JZ had tried to chat with me, only I didn't see him 'cause I was back on the board. Perhaps next time? 8pm Bob...? That's the Clampett's bedtime on Beverly Hillbillies!

These days, after working all day, I can barely stay up after 9:30... 8pm would be a good time for me, or earlier. Didn't know the Clampets went to bed that early. I watched that show, never missing an episode, growing up as a kid in Miami.

Whistler

Nomads was having a problem around that time. I couldn't log on to the main discussion center. Now everything is fine. I don't know if the problems are related though. Take care. When we drove south last year, past the Abreojos turnoff and looked at the pavement I wanted to go there but we were due at Bahia de Los Angeles and...well, you know how that happens. We'll make it next time, amigo.
