Green belt at the border?
Returning from SD last week heading home and wife asks what is that truck doing spraying green on the south side of the new fence. I look over and see
a Hydrosprout truck spraying green onto the slope between the fences.
Their seeding the dirt!!!!!!!!!!!!
I emailed Hydrosprout and got no response so I Googled goverment projects etc. Finally found this is our taxpayer money going for a green belt between
the fences.
This is BS and someone needs to here about it.

I like the greenbelt sprouting in smugglers gulch too. The machine sprays green mulch, grass seeds and fertilizer in one step. You think the green
grass wil make the "no mans land" between the fences too pretty?

Dude, way too much coffee. The fence cost $6 billion. A few grand more for grass isn't even a drop in the bucket.

Seeding
Think erosion control. Without going into the wisdom of the actual fencing, it is a fair assessment that it will last longer if the surrounding soil
stays more or less in place.

Yep, I think you hit it right on the head. With a "scorched" earth policy, the footings of the fence posts would soon wash away, costing us even more
money.
Someone must have had fOresight by implementing erosion control..
A rare quality indeed.

It's not what you think it is. It's a dye which makes their little feet glow in the dark.

what you saw was hydroseeding, sprayed application of fibrous mulch, seed and aa little fertilizer. you may think it a waste of money, but you are
wrong.

so what? how much was the fence? a few more dollars won't do anything to you, but if you have a problem I would see what you can do, and please let us
know.

Erosion control
I understand erosion control is good but, in the current economic times there are priorities. This could be done when the US economy is flush or
semi-flush.
Dennis I think you’re on to something, by the way are you at a gathering place, according to Mako if I find out anything he says I should let "us”
know. Maybe he has a couple of fish in his pocket?

Think probably that some high mucky-mucky senator has a relative in the green-spray business.

Every senator is trying to prove how green he can be, now that it's en vogue.
Maybe it was Ted Stevens? He's been all about being "green" for awhile.........

Senatorial Seedings ?
Is Dianne Feinstein's husband in that business, too ?
No point in asking her. SHE and her husband don't discuss business matters.
So she says.

The color green
has been eradicated by the "Fence" set. It went away with all our money. The way they did it was to outlaw the Primary Colors Yellow and Blue. Their
plan is to rid the world of color and reduce it to a somber gray.
The seeding story is true, however. The only green remaining is from the bales the DEA found floating in the Rio Grande and they had to get rid of
it.
