THE LIST - AUTOMOTIVE

seems a new "the list" is in order. post your good dealings with a mechanic, body shop, welder, parts yard, etc.... leave the bad ones out, they just create clutter.

start with the name, location, and service provided. keep it short and to the point, not the whole drama so we can print it out and keep it onboard whilst running the peninsula.......

losfrailes posted in another thread about auto body work:

Uno Norte 1195, Col. Industrial Nueva Tijuana, Mesa de Otay, Tijuana, BC 22505. Telephone: 664.607.2221. Their email used to be: clientes@autobodymx.com but don't know if it still is. Good luck. I think you'll be impressed when you visit them.

Woody... Didn't you get a TOYOTA recently for your Baja trips?

You don't need no stinkin' list.... ;)

Enjoy your solid truck that doesn't have 'fall off parts'... or breaks down... (well... at least that's my experience with 2 Tacomas in a row...) :saint:

Clima CRYS...

If they are still there they are an auto A/C shop in TJ. They still recharge R12 Freon very reasonable. I take my 87 LandCruiser to get recharged there. To get there after you cross the border in TJ take the 1st off-ramp (I think its Padre Kino?) and head East. It's about a mile or two on the left. Warning...they can get very busy on Sat. and right before and during Summer. Best to go in winter. Alot of older cars in TJ still using R12.

Anyone have a suggestion on a good auto body shop near Punta Banda or in Ensenada?
