Mi chiva no sirve. Tengo que arreglarla, hermano.

I'd love to go - I haven't been there yet. But, my Jeeps' control arms are trashed...I suspect the drive from Bahia de los Angeles to Bahia San Francisquito to El Arco were the cause. I'm going to be working on my Jeep to get her Baja-ready.

$900 for a complete Baja-style shake down at the local repair facility. At least, in Baja you get great prices and immediate service w/a fish-taco "outlet" on the corner of the street.

I have never been to Laguna Hansen, although I want to go there someday.

Yo pague cuatrocientos por unos partes que deberian que costarsen cien dolaritos. Estoy guardando mi plata (Pesos) por un viaje mas enseguida del verano. Pero, saque fotos por estos virgines.jaja:lol:

We just spent 5 days there about a month ago. The lake was dry except for a small area near the cabins.

Ever been there in midsummer?

Cattle graze and water at Hanson. Fresh turds all over. Flies are unbearable. Don't camp anywhere near the water. Go back up in the boulders.

And bring me a big sack of pine cones, please.

The place is at it's best in winter with a dusting of snow on the ground, water in the lake and no bugs.
Do they still rent the rustic cabins?

Another thing.........It's a noisy, crowded place to be around a Mexican holiday. Maybe Fourth Of July as well.

Yes

on the cabins. We stayed in one of the two 5 or six years ago. Rustic is a stretch. Now there are several for rent. We tent camped last month there and did not check on rental rates. Campground rates were low.
