Off to Cabo...

we leave tomorrow morning on Alaska Air for about 10 days in the Cabo sun. My husband has to work, so just my girls and I will be going down. We need to recharge the mind, and visit the in-laws. My hubby is very depressed about this, but someone's gotta go and support the Cabo economy!

If anyone in the Cabo area would like to stop by for a visit, and check out the barrio of San Lucas, we are in Colonia 4 de Marzo. I believe the street is Tezocomo (or something like that). It was the first paved road in that area. It is the street just down from la cruz on the hill. Actually we are close to the palapa church and the big blue church. We are in the trailer, and I believe our fish mural is still on our fence. (Not Keiko's school, but just up the street from them).

I'm anxious to get down there and check on things. My 21 year-old step-son has been living in the camper this year, so ready to check out his "bachelor pad"! Hope it's liveable!

Pues, nos vemos in the sun...rain today in National City! If anyone wants to check on my hubby, he and the cat will be here moping! Saludos, Heather

How bad is the humidity this time of year? I know the tropical storms push up the humidity, but without a storm in the sky, is it still excessively humid at all?

It cools to 60 deg.F at night, making for comfortable sleeping weather along the Pacific. Not bad at all.

OK Sally, maybe we will. We rented a car so will be able to get around. Is your father still there?

82, sounds great! I made sure the girls had packed a jacket and a pair of sweats! How's the wind? It looks like it will be getting warmer, so we're ready for that, too!

We plan to visit La Paz on the weekend, and know we'll find the heat there!

Off to bed, so we can get an early start! Saludos, H.

My dad just got back yesterday.

The tropical depression sent some windy weather he said, but seemed like it was going to calm down. They unfortunately got a windy week. Temps went down, a long with the water. Should boost back up there though.

Have fun.

You make me envious because I am headed down there for a month in August, but, August seems SO FAR AWAY...

Still in Cabo, we fly out on Friday or Sat...depending on the flight loads.

Beaches are beautiful, food is great, weather fine, and in-laws are still kicking! My girls had a lot of fun with their cousins in La Paz!!

The kids are still in school here, but we´ll miss the clausuras (graduations) on Friday. My nephew, the youngest of three, says his parents have no party planned for him, so guess we won´t miss much!

We have plenty of limones and mandarinas on our trees, and stopped at the huerta of my step-son's family in Pescadero for mangoes! Yummy!

Gotta run, my nephew just got home and wants the computer to get his homework done! Saludos, Heather
