MAJOR CHUBASCO COMING!!!!
There is a large area of thunderstorms covering a large portion of the middle Sea. The radio is crackling with boats desperately making it back to
shore in winds exceeding 30 knots thus far.
Be aware. Looks like it could extend over to Baja. Very large area.

Hurricane Carlos is out to sea, but, has more of a chance of hitting Hawaii than Baja!

Hook,
That is a rough looking suspect moving it's way up. The same storm that Russ is watching.

Not worried here in La Paz, but it could get Hook.

The storm that's headed right for the bay.

Stay safe everyone! Hope it does not hit as hard as it looks.

It looks like Conception Bay and Mulege are going to get the brunt of it---assuming I'm reading the sat photo correctly.

I wonder if this could dump rain in John proportions in the mountains west of Mulege?
I'd be keeping an eye on it if I lived along the river.

Black clouds and Thunder in Pescadero
I don't think this has much to do with the Chubasco a little further North, but here at Cerritos Beach outside of Pescadero we're looking at black
clouds, little wind, no rain yet but lots of thunder. Looks menacing but hasn't stopped the surfers.
You all know me as katiejay99, I'm now manager of the Hacienda Cerritos and will be posting under this name for now on.

Cypress, I might be a squall in spudsville but down here it's a perfectly good storm. Good training for the big one. Winds still 25+ skies are lighter
and I can see the peninsula now.
No rain and it sounds like a good Pacific side storm. Storm surf is only 3' on the beach in front of my casita.
