RAIN?

There is no horizon on the water. Everything is the same color...gray. Sure does look like rain.
I think that I will do a load of laundry and hang it out and then surely it will rain!

Don't bother putting the laundry in the machine, just sprinkle it with Foca detergent, hang it out on the line and let the storm do all the work for you.

The rain and wind will agitate, then rinse, and when the storm passes the sun and gentle breezes will dry it.

Let us know how it goes.

Now that is very creative thinking!:yes:

Judy, be sure to wash all your windows and vehicles---that will do it!

Sure hope you only get a little rain, and nothing serious.

Your post made me remember baja college days when fresh water showers were taboo. When we saw that grey line drawing near that was the sign to grab a bar of soap and a towel and head for the spot where the rain water would come pouring off of the roof.

We'd let the rain wash the dirt off first then take turns showing in the run off.

Good times.

Ouch. Such a typo! I guess back then we could afford to "show" off in the rain water shower.

Yes, I do have photos of those showers. Will I post them...NEVER.

Evidently doesn't live up to her signature philosphy either.

We did get a few "flippin' drops" along with celestial fireworks and sound at 5 this morning in Centenario. Plants are smilin'.

The last few days all these promissing looking chubascos (on satellite) have all run out of steam before reaching our shores. Another one this morning here in Loreto.:fire:

Yea, Paulina, lets see some history in the form of your shower attire or lack there of.

:P Sorry ladies, but this woman does not want to be the first one to make history by posting photos of my shower attire, or lack there of. Somethings are best left to the imagination. :saint:

If it ever rains again you may want to have a look around before you soap up.

Promising chubascos? Geez. Don't know that I want to spend a week before the river recedes just to be able to drive out of town. Or wait three days for the power to be restored. Perhaps you need to define "promising chubasco".

Yesterday was really weird...it got hot and muggy in the morning on the "Hawaii" side of town...then the skies turned an ominous dark grey to the south...TS Dolores brought a cold wind and I had to put a long sleeve t-shirt on at Baja Boys Weenie Roast...

then it rained...I figures abou 8 drops...wind died and it got real nice for the gorgeous red sunset c-cktails at Mark & Lisa R casita. There are some left over cloud bits and partly sunny here now. Looks like the swell will get here tomorrow...yeehaw...Sure looks like it's gonna be a rough summer for storms.
