For Astrobaja; a lighthearted look at the universe

Funny, but also very informative.

Sorry if this isn't strictly speaking Baja related, but it's just not mean spirited enough for off topic.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

How about the clip of "Mr. Creosote" from later on?
Maybe not...

Oso, sorry I missed this one!! Enjoyed it quite at lot! Combined 2 of my favorite things Monty Python and astronomy (great montage of Hubble shots)

<< warning link to Mr Creosote skit>> good for those who want to stick to their diet!

BTW-- Oso you bring up a good point there should be a second off topic area for the non-mean spirited! LOL

You make a really good point re: off-topic. I think there should be at least two categories, with a non-Baja related topic that is monitored closely to control the nasty stuff, and let there be the other where all the nasties can relieve their bile.

Bajahowodd:

For sure or why not even get rid of the "mean" off topic entirely! Theres so many places on the net for them to off gas their bile why sdo we even need it here on this board? Just have a polite courteous off topic for the members here! And if the usual "suspects" have to resort to nastiness give them the boot for a while to cool their jets!

My reasoning is that if there are two off-topics, a moderator would only really have to monitor the polite one. I get your point, but it just seems to me that there are a number of Nomads who are somewhat bi-polar- in that they often post interesting and informative stuff on the regular board, but for some reason become raging idiots in off-topic. Obviously, stronger monitoring of the current off-topic would work.
