earthquake photo - BOLA!!

Thought I'd share - were were getting ready to dive in a small cove just south of Coronado (the volcano) when we heard a rumble, the ground moved beneath our feet and the water shimmered - I grabbed my camera an shot a few pictures of the landslides created by the quake! Our friends were actually in the cove at the base of the volcano when the quake hit and they ran - boated - for their lives as boulders the size of cars were propelled into the sea. Amazing to have witnessed it! Gail and I and McNulty have been enjoying the weather and copius quantities of whale sharks just off of the beach in front of our house - dorado are starting to show and yellowtail are plentiful! let me know if anyone is planning to come down in the next few weeks or so!!! Marv, that image is just incredible! And, very quick thinking on your part. I imagine Associated Press might be interested in publishing that image ... can you say $$$$

Now, if those folks who got outta there by boat grabbed a camera and shot some of those car sized bolders coming down and splashing into the sea, that would be just as incredible.

Marv
Good shot! Lois and I need to come down in the next couple of weeks and repoint your Starband dish so you can keep posting those great photos. Also have about 20 others repoints to do while I am there. Not looking foreward to being on your roof in the heat but gotta do it. Let me know how much longer you will be there.

Is that dust over the island or fog/clouds or a combo of both?

Marv, you need to send that photo to ABC7.com. I'll bet It will make national U.S. headlines!
Make sure you include the same storyline you posted here.

I'm serious!
