Maria is my hairdresser,
What can I do to help. Please help if you can . This lady defiantly has the "nomad spirit " she spends more than half of her time making sure the
people that have not are taken care of., food haircuts ,trips to the Dr anything she can do to make someones life a little better, all given from her
heart. Now its our turn to help her. She will need furniture, beds, blankets, clothes adult and children' s. Anything you can donate will be greatly
appreciated. This is the time of the year she does back packs and school supplies for children that can't afford new school supplies. Anyone wanting
to donate anything can use Pyramid Resort for a drop off point .I will be glad to collect and deliver anything to her. Please Keith let me know what I
can do to help,k
PS Just talked to Mrs No problemo. She said a friend had come by and said that Maria was most devastated that the 2 children lost all of their toys
and computer . Please if you can donate toys for a boy 6 and a girl 9 . Thanks so much,k

I would like to pay for 10 back packs and school supplies for the community kids if someone in Tijuana or Ensenada can buy them, put them together and
get them to Pyramid Resort. I'm thinking Wal-Mart or similar store. Have to figure out how to get the money to you, anyone willing to coordinate
with me for this?
Don't know how many community children would need supplies, if someone can give me a guess, perhaps a couple of us northern people can pay for
supplies if someone south can put them together.
Jump in if we can work something out.
Or if there is a fund set up like the one Baja Cactus did, that would be the easiest.

Thank you so much for your generous help, Keri! I told D.J. last night, when she arrived at my house in tears over this, that we would all pull
together and help Maria. We all love her, and you know our community here does come together when needed to support those we love. Maria has always
been such an important link between our American community and those in the Mexican community too! And she never thinks of herself first, but is
always there for others--so let's get to it!
I have given your contact information to D.J., and Keith will send out another email to everyone with that information as well, if that is okay.

Well paypal works fairly simple. Money is paid to an email address. That email address/person would have to have a US bank account. Then funds can
be submitted to that email address and be transferred electronically.

Say for instance, everyone could send money to a fellow nomad via paypal. Then that nomad could hand deliver cash to Maria and Polo. A nomad in the
same area would be ideal.

You'll have to set it up via a US URL. If you're in Mexico and attempt to establish a PAYPAL account while communicating over a Mexican URL, you will
be rejected.

Keri and BajaNuts
Bernie here. Long time no talk-but this seems to be as good a time as any to start again. Keri got ahold of Jaime and I and told us what was going
on in La Mision. As a result of our conversation we have purchased 10 backpacks and what we consider a modest amount of school supplies to fill each
one. jaime has also put together several boxes of towels, sheets, pots and pans, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, brushes, hand towels, blankets, and KIDS
TOYS: dolls, matchbox cars, etc. We realize that our efforts will only go a small way toward replacing those things lost in the fire.
We will be contacting BajaNuts about the school supplies, and I have committed a sum of money to help tide the folks over. We should all realize
that this is not just one of those "oh here, make me feel better" things, but rather a long term committment to help this lady who has been an angel
in helping others for years. Jaime is already looking forward to Christmas and all that it will entail in this effort. Lets all get together behind
this wonderful lady.

Don't know the family but they certainly seem to be highly reguarded by people I do know.
Definately seems like a genuinely worthy cause.
