Other ways to help Jimena victims
I've been reading many of the posts with regards to relief efforts and all sound wonderful.
I have another suggestion for anyone with travel plans, though, in the coming months or year....spend your tourist dollars in the communities hardest
hit by Jimena. As soon as those communities are able to handle tourists, Nomads should focus on visiting these communities. The benefits will be
greater than simply sending a donation due to the economic multiplier effect. For those who can't visit, then a donation is wonderful.
We're going to make a point to visit Santa Rosalia and Muluge in the coming months and spend some of our dollars in those communities. Hopefully
others will do the same.

Very good idea, if possible stop at small stores and buy something at each place, skip the big-box stores. Cook bigger healthy meals, soups with
vegetables, potatoes etc..., make plenty of food to share/drop off with neighbors when possible. Cboose fruits or grapes in season.

One thing about stopping in Sta.Rosalia or Mulege- you don't have to worry a very great deal about the gravitational pull of "big box" stores. The
biggest box in the whole Mulege Municipio is the large grocery in GN by the salt plant. After that its all cajitas.

Please think about doing the following:
Go to a nearby Goodwill store, a Womens Center, or similar place where you can pick up Older Suitcases for about a Buck a Case.
Fill the Cases with jackets for kids 3 to 13 and especially if you go to Constitution, stop at the General Hospital and go in and tell the Director
you are from 'Warm Jackets for Cold Kids". His Social worker will deliver all you can bring to the Poorest of the poorest out and around Constitution.
If you are not going to Constitution then do the same thing a Sat Rosalilla. You are better off going through the hospitals if possible.

going down in late october , coming from colorado , will bring lots of coats , and covers , tarps , will be getting colder then in baja . Thanks for
the info, where help is needed most.
