DISCOVER BAJA EVENT: This Saturday (9-12-09)

>>> Great club for Baja travelers, offers discounts, huge Baja book and map store (even for non-members), and the owners are just darn nice people! My personal comment<<<

Dear Discover Baja Members,

This Saturday, September 12, 2009 is our Grand Re-Opening Fiesta at Discover Baja Travel Club. Join us between 2 and 5pm at our new office---3264 Governor Drive (University City area) San Diego, 92122. There will be arts and craft vendors, lots of food and an extraordinary raffel with many wonderful give-aways. RSVP 800-727-2252

There will also be a collection for flood victims in Mulege, Santa Rosalia and Punta Chivato from Hurricane Jimena. We are collecting canned goods (fruit, veggies, spam, vienna sausage) and beans and rice which will be flown down to the damaged areas in Baja. We have received first-hand reports from most of the flooded areas. If you would like specific information, give us a call --800-727-2252.

See you on Saturday.
Carol and Hugh Kramer

A nice day today in San Diego at the new location for Discover Baja Travel Club.

Some of the other Nomads who I chatted with at Discover Baja today were Tehag, Oggie and Doug 'Baja Nomad'.
