Even if you're against the war, please take a moment to appreciate our troops and remember those in the Twin Towers.

the point is to NEVER FORGET!

Where were you when you heard about the attack on America? That's a rhetorical question unless someone would like to answer.

I remember where I was when I heard about President Reagan being shot, slightly remember the moon landing, definitely remember that September morning in 2001.

Attack on Pearl Harbor? I have a personal connection to that date...my grandfather's ship was the USS Arizona.

The point is to Never Forget! And not just 9/11/2001...

Honor and remember those who have given their lives for freedom in all parts of the world. Not just American men and women, but all those who have fought for the freedom of their country or have fought for the rights of citizens of other countries.....

Past, present and future..........

DK-leave the politics out of this....I remember a sad day in Oklahoma City where a member of the right wing waged terrorism on US soil against innocent civilians...a terrorist is trying to inflict fear and make a point....not start a war.

My respect goes out to all people and their families, regardless of nationality, that have been a victim of terrorism and pointless wars.

Luck Osama bin Faden!

Still peees me off that the greatest country on Earth can't find a seven foot tall Jihadi carting around a kidney dialysis machine. Makes me believe that we aren't really trying to find him. See the movie "The Hunting Party" if you have any doubts.

This has no business here.

The business of death has no regard for after the fact quarterbacking. None of the personal ideology will undo tragic deaths.

I was in my fire station watching on TV horrified as I watched so many people die and considered the ripple effects of this cowardly action.

There was a beautiful tribute this morning on NPR through the story corp program by a retired NYFD dad about two young men, his sons, who died in the towers.

Any person who kills in the name of religion is a coward. It shows they just needed an excuse to be mindless. That can't be forgotten either. Fanaticism, regardless of who you choose as your compass, is for those of no personal character.

having spent the better part of the past decade building family housing and/or bachelor enlisted quarters, maintenance compounds, training schools, and now a multi-battalion operations center for the military (and 60% of the time working all week out of town, away from my family), i have taken it upon myself to give my best, and expect the best from our sub-contractors so that our soldiers (and their families!) can have the best that i/we/you have to offer them in respect to their service and sacrifices.

having never volunteered for combat i feel it is the best i can do for those who sign up for the real deal......

NEVER FORGET!!!!
