Old Issues of Desert Magazine

A recent post here on Guadalupe and Palomar Canyons reminded me that you can access old issues of Desert Magazines that are kind of neat - use site search on scribd.com to search for locations in Baja.

www.scribd.com

For example heres a trip someone took to areas near Laguna Salada back in the 50's.

Scroll to page 9.

You can even access a new Nomad who may have something to do with the publication:

In the Nomad Historic Interst and Literature Forum, I have posted a few Desert Magazine articles...

The former editor/ publisher Choral Pepper has a lot of photos taken during her trips to Baja, often with Erle Stanley Gardner's group, that I have now... see http://choralpepper.com

The new Nomad 'dezertmag' is working on an Internet version of the old great Desert Magazine... planned for next year.
