Vendor Praise- Baja Almanac
Hello,
I ordered the Baja California Almanac and wanted to let fellow Nomads about the service I received.
I ordered the Baja Almanac and it arrived promptly and was packed well. Unfortunately, the printers messed up on the binding process and a couple of
pages were duplicated and some were missing. I contacted the vendor and He apologized for the mistake. I offered to send my "defective" copy back to
him but He said just keep it.
I received my replacement Baja Almanac today and received two copies of the Almanac. The Vendor included a note said "Sorry for the inconvenience and
keep the extra copy as a gift".
It's been a long time since I've been given this quality/level of service. The vendor should be commended.
BTW- The Baja California Almanac is well worth the price.

Wow, letters and emails to Landon usually are ignored... so good for you on getting replacements...
Check the latitude numbers on maps 5, 6, 7, 12, 18... they need fixen'... as Curt's link mentions...
2009 Almanac latitude corrections to pencil in:
On Maps 5 & 6, the latitude changes to make: All the 31º figures needs to be 30º (the minutes are fine).
On Map 7: All the 31º figures need to be changed to 29º and the one 30º figure needs to be 28º.
Map 12 [RIGHT side only] latitude figures are wrong, they should be the same numbers as on the left side.
Map 18 degree figures on both sides are wrong: the 25º figures should all be 24º, and the 26º figures should all be 25º.

Actually, Landon delivered three copies of the new Almanac himself to my good friend Frijolero, who had a two of the Almanacs that had incorrect
binding. He was very friendly and apologetic, and even spent some time discussing the beautiful Baja Peninsula. Great customer service!
