The 25th Annual Clam Fiesta

was held in our courtyard on New Years Day. We steamed up almost 100 dozen clams for about 80 guests including Nomads BajaPonderosa, DavidK, BajaAngel, and Mr & Mrs BajaWarrior. Everyone brought great dishes to share and no one went home hungry. It was a great way to start the New Year.

(David K here, on Rob's computer):

Great party, great people, blue skys... Having fun in the Baja sun.

Enjoying a couple of relaxing days with our friends and will post some photos when we get home. The new Tacoma's limited slip 4WD is awesome... deep sand without de-airing tires! Explored around the sulfur mine yesterday.

Happy New Year from Baja!

That's called "planning"!
And I nailed it this trip.
But that looked like a great "clambake" you guys had.

BajaRob, good job posting photos... keep them coming!

Capt. Mike, in the book 'Baja Traveler' it lists the airstrip of Bahia Santa Maria (back in 1974)... that's the place. The airstrip is no mas, but El Vergel is nearby, open and legal... nicley groomed, too... but short (full flaps)!
