Bringing vitamins and supplements into Mexico

Anyone had trouble bringing vitamins and supplements from the US to Mexico?

I will be bringing my own personal supply of Vitamin C, Zinc, and herbal capsules for an extended road trip into Baja.

Anyone had any troubles with Mex authorities in regards to bottles of vitamins and supplements?

Thanks in advance!

In their original containers, is wise. We have taken our Nova vitamins to Baja, no issues.

Good to know - thanks!

Still recovering from a nasty illness, so have to take about 8 supplements... Hopefully, losing track of time and reality in Baja for a few weeks will be even more healing than the supplements!

I concur with the replies to your original post. In addition, you should easily be able to obtain just about anything you need while in Baja. Large supermarkets such as Comercial Mexicano carry a large inventory of vitamins and supplements, as does Walmart. And specialty stores such as GNC are there as well. Don't know where you're headed, but GNC has a couple of stores in Ensenada, one in La Paz and Mexicali, and a couple in the Los Cabos area.

Vitamins arn't new to Mexico. I would be more concerned about a nasty US customs zealot than anything else.
