Wild Flowers at Borrego Springs

This last Saturday we made our annual trip out to Borrego to see the wildflowers, do some off-roading and have a picnic. We weren’t the only ones with the same idea. Borrego Springs was hopping with tourists, an art show in the circle helped, oranges and grapefruit was also available at the many stands. The flower display still has some life left as we saw few barrel cactus in bloom and they are usually the last to go off. Still some time left if you haven't gone out.

Very nice yellow flowers stretching for the sun, Ken.
I'm wondering how many wildflowers gave their lives to the making of this picture. (Vision of you sprawled flat in the flower field.)
