I like the obscure stuff. Your computer speakers cannot do justice to this:
Thank you Africa.

I like the mexican ranchero music on the radio. I like when they sing slightly out of tune and have horses neighing in the backround. I also like
"Porch Music"

Baja music
Love reggae too.
If you've never heard of Luky Dube, give him a try.
Love Jack Johnson too. And if you like Jack I just found this guy and he has a little touch of reggae in his tunes:
http://www.marcbmusic.com/
Listen to "democracy" and "comin' up" for starters.
plus he has all his lyrics there.
Enjoy the ride, RT

How can you tell? - listen to the lyrics....."baby you're so nice, I like to do the same thing twice" I find that a lot of Regaee songs are of this nature.
I'm going to look up Big Mountain - I like regaee in other languages. I dig the African funk too

I'll have to look up some of the youtube stuff when I get home from work...none of that available here on campus (although I'm sure my students can
get around it!).
I like the African stuff, too...Tuku music; Olvier Mtukudzi, Fela Kuti to name a couple. I always see what they're playing at the SD Zoo or Wild
Animal Park and look for that!
I have a few CD's of Putumayo disc. It's World Music with different collections; Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Latin, etc., etc.
Also love Ozomatli, Carlos Vives, Mana, and my all time #1 Pato Banton.
Great message in the reggae...DK, you sound like my students, but it's not all about the ganja!
