Anticipation....

we're leaving Sat. early :bounce:(hope to see the eclipse at 4:30am). We plan to make it to the Yurts at San Ignacio on the first night, and then to the in-laws in La Paz on Sunday night.

We'll be driving our, "taxi rojo", red Isuzu Rodeo with the Marlin painted on the back. Give a honk if you pass us, and please stop if you see us on the side of the road! (hubby says the car will make it, but if not, we can hop on the bus!)
:tumble:

Step-son is graduating from Todo Santos High, (prepa tecnologico # ___ de TS) on Monday night, so we'll be in TS all day on monday. The graduation is at 9am, and the party at 9pm! Guess we'll head to the beach, Los Cerritos.

The rest of the summer is up in the air! We may drive from there down to our place in Cabo, or depending on the heat, go back and hang out with the family in La Paz for a couple of days!

I'm going to try and look up some nomads in Los Cabos, so if you see a big blonde gringa and a couple of little girlies, that's me! I would love to come down to San Jose and see your place, Judy, and always mean to get down to Lori and Tommy's (after reading about Tommy's story, especially).

Time always goes so fast when we're there, and with only 2 weeks of vacation, we probably won't do all we want to! Plan to be at the beaches, Chileno and Hacienda are our favorites, and know we'll be driving up in the mountains in search of mangoes and rivers, and always lots of family and friends to visit with!

Our place is in cuatro de marzo in CSL. It's a camper, with an old pick-up in front, and I think our seascape mural is still painted on the front wall! Our once dirt road is now the busiest paved road in that neighborhood, so, if you've been up there, you've probably driven by!

Carne asada graduation party on the 3rd of July (if all goes well)! Come on by!
Saludos, Heather

Have a safe and enjoyable trip. We'll miss you by a day or two. We had planned on leaving next Wednesday but are trying to leave a few days earlier. Our newborn is ready to check out her other home and our son wants to visit his best friend, Luis. I can't let me kids down, right:yes:

Yea, my kids are excited to get back to Cabo! Don't know if they are looking forward to the drive, though. I think it was easier when they were younger...they'd sleep most of the way! Now, at 7 and 10 there'll be a lot of, "Are we there, yet, are we there, yet?"

I've been finding lots of books to keep them entertained...and the snacks of course!

Enjoy yourselves! I'm sure you'll find lots of babysitters---baby-holders!

we had one, but it didn't last too long! I was going to bring the laptop and let them watch movies on that...but I like the "plugs into the lighter" part!
Thanks!
