Talk about getting down to basic's.. how cool.. sorry about the back..
Would love to have one.. what a great animal..... "more patient, sure-footed, hardy and long-lived than horses, and they are considered less
obstinate, faster, and more intelligent than donkeys."
But I too have a bad back .... good luck, I'm sure some one down there could use one ... water and graze might not be too bad.. if one can work it
out...
See a lot of folks on horses up here around Primo Tapia.. south of Rosarito...

And a mule will only eat enough to satisfy it's hunger, unlike a horse who'll eat itself to death.

Mules are the best. From the sound of it you love that mule and are going to sell it to a responsible person who will care for it as you care for it.
I have a parrot who bites the hell out of me on occasion but will never get rid of her because someone may abuse her because of her biting.

Our name came from spain back in the 1500s And many came to the Americas back then. There are many books about Cabeza De Vaca.
