Coffee on CAL-ORE Coastline

Pulled off the trail late yesterday to boondock camp at dark-thirty. Slept in and awoke to this magnificient view and had to post a photo.

What a wonderful places to explore... Baja, USA, Canada..Viva Norte America!

Wandering north on Hwy 101, Oregon Coast about 10-15 miles up the coast from Brookings, near the California/Oregon border.

Pompano, I wish I would have know you were in the neighborhood, I would have enjoyed meeting you. Did you notice a little temperature change from Baja? JH

Pompano....what's that hazy stuff partially obscuring these pics? You normally post crisp clear pics that exude warmth. These pics convey a sense of cold & damp! Some amazing scenery & a whole lotta GREEN there in my home state of Oregon, huh? Thanks for reminding of the tradeoff I made....cold "humidity" for warm humidity! :tumble:

Ahhhhhhhh! I thought it looked vaguely familiar....I've been away so long, I'd forgotten what the locals call it!

Chances of us meeting in Hillsboro are somewhere in the range of slim to non-existent....but give me a heads-up the next time you plan to hit the La Paz area & I'd enjoy meeting you. And no, I don't do armed escorts through Constitucion with a film crew!
