Road from Puertecitos to Gonzaga Bay
What is the status of the construction? Is there any progress South of Herfanito?

On July 19th, no... still ends by El Huerfanito (unfinished bridge)... detour onto older road at sand piles, a mile before the bridge. Old road graded
nice for 6.6 miles to service construction vehicle that are working the 10 kms. south of the bridge.
See my trip report with photos and road log... http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=46887

They seem to do 10 km. (6.2 mile) sections at a time... also, the bridge where the pavement ends had no immediate construction on the far side, nor
was any workers on the bridge. This is perhaps where they discovered an ancient village and are waiting for the archeology team to do its thing?
However, work was progressing on the far side of the hill, south of the bridge, for 6 miles... then the older rough road... 2 months ago.
