Earthquakes and fires, bored? Not really!
OK 1st the fires in the park, now quakes! We've had 6 in the last 3 days, one was 4.7 6km north of us and we just had 3 more in the last half hour,
one was pretty jarring! Has yet to show up on the USGS seismic activity map. Seems like the quakes are in a line towrds Mikes Sky ranch and slightly
to the east, never knew there was a minor fault line there.
Anyone have a map of Baja nortes fault lines?

There have been thousands of aftershocks since the 7.2 on Easter. We've been getting them everyday up north since "the big one".

And, unfortunately, the experts over at CalTech and the USGS are now saying that a major one is overdue in the area of Ft. Tejon, or slightly North.
Been a while since that happened, but given the huge increase in population from Santa Barbara South, it could really ruin more than a few people's
day.
