That note on your calendar is just the reminder to compensate those folks who work Monday. You are welcome to be grateful all weekend, or even all year!

Most canadians will eat the T this Sunday. Monday is for the leftovers and coming to grips with hangovers etc.
To all Canadians out there; Happy TG weekend!
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

Will be having Tofurkey (try it, you'll like it!) ...and I have already roasted
the -yup - brussels sprouts & carrots in maple butter and extra butter for tomorrow. If you don't like vegetables, you just haven't used enough
butter and sugar!

This Tofurkey....does it really taste like turkey?

Oh yeah! Very right on.

I know BajaKeela I personaly hate it when Yanks posture that kind of attitude, Canadians are a bit like Mexicans at times, too polite to say anything
that might offend. Too bad a little of that has'nt rubbed off on some of our neighbors to the south!
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canuck borthers and sisters! We're doing a rib roast tonight in our clay oven! mmmmm!

It is a rolled item and has the savory taste of the season, but the texture is more like a pork roast stuffed with pork tenderloin and stuffing. It
sure is easy to make and clean up. A leftover Tofurkey sandwich is pretty close to the traditional thing. What does this have to do with Baja? Why,
there's a Tofurkey travel contest and I'm taking one down for Christmas dinner!

It's so &^%$(*& cold up there they gotta do it a month and a half early. But maybe the Canuk Pilgrims were a little hyper and couldn't wait.
Given the way they talk that is probable.

Must be lucky, never met a bad Canuk, worked with them in France in Air Traffic Control, as a Lineman building tower lines .. in Agriculture, and in
the areas of Transportation, rail, shipping and air...
Always a great bunch... and never a dull moment when off "duty" ...
It's their country... and they seem to be doing ok.. with things over all.. and good for them... a decent bunch in my book...

I want to say I am sorry for my previous post (now deleted). In typical Yank fashion I in blundered in and insulted the memory of over 152 brave
Canadian soldiers, men and women, who were killed in Afghanistan. Thanks to these kids we all should be thankful.
