OK, THE DAVID K POLL IS UP

Since I was so bold as to take umbrage, on David's behalf, for the Magellan relationship, here is a poll which I hope has an answer close enough for everyone.

I believe three of the four are correct. Given that, I won't vote.

But, I did. I voted between the choices assuming it was meaningless, but it gave me the early returns.

You folks think that David is involved here for a high post count should ask yourselves why a high post count is meaningful. It's your evaluation....not Davids.
His numbers on post count will never be matched because he continues to be prolific with his offerings of help for Baja travelers. If you would do the same, you'd have a high post count as well.
But....you don't and wont. You'll continue to berate the man for his passion and individuality here.
He has Baja by the nuts......He has a great Nomad wife and he gets down here as often as possible.
The man is BAJA..................................Tell me why he isn't.

I have a robust post count as well. I don't hear *** from anybody about that. Why?

I'll tell you why. It's ****** meaningless.
Who in the **** could possibly care? I don't. Neither should you. It's all nonsense.

Well, thank you... but let it be clear I have never, ever claimed to be any 'authority' or 'expert' on Baja... The correct choice, if it were offered would be that I am a long time Baja traveler who enjoys sharing what I have learned and discovered.

Not quite sure about what you seek to accomplish here. In my personal opinion, and as I've told DK in the past, he is probably the most thoroughly knowledgeable and enthusiastic Baja guy around. But, he has a habit of interjecting his personal politics intrusively. he's a treasure to Baja enthusiasts. But, he tends to diminish his luster when he gets involved in US politics. Given that in all the time I've been here, it does not appear that he will change (and in reality, he certainly has just as much right to voice his opinions and do all of us other blowhards), we'll just take the good with the bad.

David isn't a History teacher. He's a regular **** just like you and me. His opinions outside of Baja deserve all respect without some here dissing him here for leaving his post as teacher. Give the guy a break. It won't cost you anything.

You're being attacked, David. I sent you those PDF instructions on, "How to Grovel."
Your above admission isn't quite there.

I missed the voting, but from all DK's posts
he has a grasp of Baja, especially is a Historical
reference. The previous post stating most of us are
blowhards to some degree, is spot on.
But DK backs it up with first hand
experience/knowledge
I think any of us that have more than
1 star by our name, should consider
blowhard rehab

Yeah?.........Yeah?.............. Who said that? I want answers.

Have him present himself here ASAP. We can't just sit back and allow "those people" to make these accusations. Bring this egregious offender forward to accept Baja justice.
We're waiting.

That's what I said. I said that already up there. I thought that was.....well yeah.... what I said. Just like I said. I said that. I'll say it again, but I already said that. What more can I say but what I've already said. I'm sure I mentioned, if not said that and if I said that in the past it's only because I said that.
