I was planning on leaving Oct 29 but...with my team,The Giants, beating the filling out of the Phils. Might not go til November 5th. I'm a season
ticketholder and have tics for all the world series games in San Francisco. I'm going tonight with my sons and my brother to watch them clinch the
pennant!
The local fishing report said that they are catching yellowtail off the coast up here and the albacore bite is wide open. Decisions...decisions.
I want my cake and will eat it too. Oh I'm sneaking a bottle of 2003 rioja into the game!
Too bad about the Padres!
Padres season ticker holder here. I'm rooting for the Giants now, after the Braves lost out.
Where is the yellowtail hitting? Near San Fran?

I bought the smallest albie I could find, right off a boat in Newport, Oregon, in late September. They had some as large as 35 lbs. but I was living
on the road and had no real storage space.
One thing I noticed IMMEDIATELY upon cleaning it. The longfins up there have a much higher oil content than what I was used to catching SOB in Mexican
waters. It was delicious raw or cooked.
I'm hoping for the Giants.............but I think their hitting has hit the wall everyone expected it to. Just pitch around Cody Ross and Posey and
the Giants will be lucky to score two runs a game.
Prediction: Rangers take on the Phils and win their first WS crown, 4 games to 2.
MVP? Why, Cliff Lee, of course......................
Amazing! The starting pitcher goes 2+ innings and they still win the game. They have a great pitching staff and Bochy made all the right decisions.
He's a very underrated coach.

I'll take the Rangers in 5. SF pitching has been helped by playing two teams (Atlanta and Phil) that hadn't been hitting well for the last month of
the season.
The same could be said of Texas (Tampa and NY) but I think the Rangers are by far the better hitting team and the starting pitching is about even.
The Giants do have an edge in the bullpen, so IF they can contain the Ranger hitters, that's the only way SF wins it.
