A friend from Punta Chivato mentioned to us this new hotel. We would like to visit over there, but do you know if they accept pets? That same old pesky question that pops up all the time. :biggrin:

I know they've been working on opening the Hotelito up. I believe there are 10 rooms at around $60/nite. It's part of the restaurant area and the first glance I had of the rooms they were going to be very nice. I haven't been to see how they turned out yet. I believe they are also running a bed & breakfast that should be five star deal. Right on the water with beautiful surroundings. The third place is a home they rent out. It's a very big place with AC for the whole house and an infinity pool looking out over the Bay of Santa Inez. Spectacular! is how I'd describe it. The fourth place. They also run the camping beach which in my opinion should have been the first to be renovated. It is still an unimproved/dry site and the sand has moved in to make most of the prime sites difficult to access. I know they are talking about bringing it back with showers, toilets, water and access trails to the waterfront sites. When finished it'll be fantastic. And Lastly. They have begun work on a new trailer park where the mechanic is and near Los Chivabatos Restraunt/Hotelito. More about all as a venture out of The Cave and explore my home area.
Don't forget our huge garage sale on Sunday:lol:

Hook,

El Hotelito is just north of the "Golf Course" and the airport, on the left as you approach the Hotel end of the runway.

N27 04'.21.26"
W111 57'41.36"

The Hacienda is just past the Hotel Las Flores as you drive to the camping beach.

Ken

looking forward to dropping in and checking it all out.
i miss old Bill Alvarado and what was the Punta Chivato hotel before the Ejido ran him off.
so what is happening at the posada de las flores? heard it was shut down and Marceletto in some dutch??

great place but all my friends are at Serenidad.
i'll advise the flying sams trip coordinator to see if they want to plan a group at Chivato.

Yes, I believe "Azulito" does have some problems. He requested that all homeowners receive an E-mail which he claimed would tell the truth about his troubles. His E-mail only showed two water related statements from 2005 and have nothing to do with his current troubles. No clarification of what's going on now. I sent this reply;
"I am not sure of your intention in having documents from Punta Chivato Shores to yourself sent to all the home owners in Punta Chivato. For the most part we are not able to translate these documents for a factual understanding. So rumors will continue in our community. If you decide to forward a translation of these documents it may clear up the issues presented. However, If you are looking for compassion from any of us that have had dealings with you or your facility in Punta Chivato I believe you will only provoke more hostility, if that's possible. In the past you have shown no respect for our community and in fact have proven, time and again, that we, the residence of Punta Chivato and our guests, are of no importance to you. How could you possibly expect a friendly response to your posting to the general population of Punta Chivato?
For most of us your issues with Punta Chivato Shores is between you and Raul and only provides us some slight entertainment. If you truly wanted to express your thoughts on issues concerning the Punta Chivato residence I suggest you act like a man and open your "home" to us and have a talk with us, in person, and not some cheap mass distribution that explains nothing.
My purpose in taking the time to respond to your attempt to ".. put the history and facts together." is to inform you of my personal lack of interest in anything you do to promote yourself. I am available to discuss my opinions with you should you take an interest."
