perhaps, but I seriously doubt they will impact the indian casinos too much here. maybe take away some of their business from the south bay, but not
much more.

Count on it !
And I wouldn't be surprised to see the Casino rebuilt on the Coronado Islands. Now that would be fun !!!!

come to think of it,
didn't TJ have a big gambling scene back during prohibition? many of the buildings from that era still stand and are used to this day.

Al Capone
had a house down here and he built the casino on the Coronado Islands from what I hear.
He was also very involved with Puerto Pe?asco.

Not sure when/if casinos were ever legal. But I do know from my father that there were a # of 'under ground' casinos that he and his associates use
to frequent in the 50 and 60's in TJ.

Al Capone putting fish in mailboxes.... I heard it was only the "head" of the fish, not the entire fish!

Mateo, excellent stuff!
The Hotel Riveria Del Pacifico in Ensenada used to be a casino many years ago. There are some great OLD photos found at this link. It's hard to
believe that the waterfront used to be right at the edge of this place.
