mexican boat insurance

I am bringing my 24 foot aft cabin cruiser to bahia concepcion permanently. Anyone out there have any experience with insurance on the boats being used exclusively in Mexican waters?

insurance

You can try--seguros comercial america in tijuana. 664-687-97-00 or 664-200-20-29. They are the largest insure in mexico. They also have a writer in san diego. international gateway--619-271-0572. It's funny but the US writer is cheaper than the mexican for the exact same coverage. I have been with this company for many many years. I filed a claim on a boat and a truck and both times things could not have run smoother. fishin rich

boat insurance

This must be Chuck ...our beach (Posada) boat owners are about half insured with Lewis and Lewis, and half with the Zurick Company. These seem to be the only two options.

Boat Ins

Our sailboat was smashed pretty badly last year by Hurricane Marty when it destroyed Marina de La Paz. Zurich is our insurer, and we had an adjuster fly down within 3 days of the hit, photograph damage, look at repair estimates, etc. We had a check within 2 weeks. Payment was for my airfare down, repairs, and a willingness to reopen the claim if further damage was found during repairs. I could not believe the cooperation and promptness. Good company! We are now like new and awaiting cruising season.
