Wow...any Baja BN here have a map of this wonderland?
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

BLASPHEME!
Watch out for Woody... expect crosses burned on your lawn!!!

(nice maps on that site, too...)
[again, it isn't web sites, maps, or photos that will cause mobs of surfers to go there... it is good roads (along with good economy and lack of fear
of Mexico)!!]

That map is totally fake. There is nothing to do around there but watch coyotes. It is all a joke.

Someone who won't be named just left this morning for places that can't be named to get into that swell action. I'm jealous that I couldn't go too!

Just to the south of the black horizonal line on the contour map is where I camped and fished in July of 09. I was catching yellow fin croakers as
fast as I could throw the line in. Both evening and early morning. A little north toward the point last Nov I was catching nice size serf perch. Great
fishing area on the beaches. Well worth a trip.

There are no secret spots. (surfers can never keep secrets about good waves) Only easy ones to get too, and harder ones to get too. The harder it is
to get too, the fewer people. I was into the sisters when the pavement stopped at Colonet. People had been there before me and my friends got there.
It was not a secret then and certainly is not one now.

Actually, there are TONS of secret spots down there, not UNKNOWN but known but very few people. I can personally attest to having scored world class
waves, alone, while nearby waves hosted 30+ guys. It's real. It exists and it's all about years of exploration. The idea that we should all just
share maps with everyone is silly. Keeping a secret doesn't make you an elitist or even crabby, it just means you're asking other people to earn what
you had to earn. But we're already talking too much about this, so let me steer the conversation elsewhere...
Personally, I think gringos should totally buy baby lobsters from local fisherman or even catch some for themselves. Ditto for all shellfish in Baja.
AND, it's legal for Americans to carry a firearm in Baja. And also, Mama Espinoza's is a ripoff.
Who's with me??!??!?!

the waves in La Bocana are HUGE - the end of January is the only time of the year when waves are guaranteed to be grandissimos. there is a surf
tournament the 29th and 30th.
