Going to see the 'lost mission' mystery walls at Las Animas?
I can't wait to go four wheeling again!!!
This is the same Baja Grande as in 2006 - except for double days in San Felipe (w/Caņon del Diablo). I didn't actually see Las Animas Bay, but I
heard it was beautiful. One of the attendees who went was a tour leader himself, but blew out his BFGoodrich All-Terrain tire on the road out of LA
Bay near the cemetary. This time, I want to see Animas Bay, too.
Well... it is on and next to the hill the road goes around 2 miles from the bay... if the left fork (most travelled), you can see the wall on the hill
to your right. If the right fork you pass the reservoir (below the cave) and right next to the palm trunk that Choral Pepper saw in 1966... the walls
are up on top of the hill (out of sight) just past the palm tree. It is all at http://vivabaja.com/109 and the link to the article in my signature, below...
