100th Post
I made it through boot camp as a newborn, continued on as a child, been locked on a post, learned to download images, become acquainted with many as a
lurker, see bunches of stars with numbers like 2,591 & 25,944, met dear friends as Geo_Skip, and continue to be surprised by reluctance of Baja
lovers to trust their dreams. Much to say, poco a poca. Much to listen to and learn as well. First time with a "social website". Still prefer
e-mail to U2U, but learning. Still haven't done a "quote", or ventured to the other side of the veil, at least with a post.
That said, thanks for being here.

ya I'm new this to0 ,,,but when your dealing with folk's that love and hang out down here,,the very few a--hole's that show up,,,,,,,they kind of

It is funny... and fine with me... I have that many posts because besides being the oldest guest of Doug's forum, I love 'talking Baja'. It is a way
to give back all that I have absorbed and aquired (books, maps, photos) of Baja.

I'd left San Diego, my last home in the States basically in protest. There, I'd always had a man cave away from home. Reading between lines written
by Gene Kira, my family spent a couple nights a first time in Lopez. By 2002, I rented a house built by the canary . . . had no water, kitchen or
bathrooms. Rent was 500 pesos a month. It became my home, "fish camp" & man cave. In the years since, I stay 3-4 days on all good tides October
through Christmas and into January. Lopez, with San Diego weather, we escape Loreto occasionally during periods of heat.
A second house, evolving over time, is where Mike and family will be staying.

Very cool... Do you know The Hoyt's?
Their youngest son and mine were friends since 5th grade here in Oceanside... Been to their old home many times... mostly picking up and dropping off
the boys.
Their son was born in Mexico, so now they have a business out on Magdalena Island (I think)... We took him camping with us to Shell Island once... Ken
Cooke was there and took photos of them and posted here.
Oh well... just a side bar... Carry on!

Book mark your toolbar if you expect to use it frequently.
Set the thing for the 15" screen gig. Hard to discover, set it and forget it.
Pull up photobucket from your toolbar. Go to my home . . . Albums . . . Create new.
Click Upload now bar
Goes to upload from my computer to your new album (post).
(I create a new album per post)
Click "Select photo . . . green bar in the middle")
Find your image and double click.
Then, click "save and continue" . . .
Once saved, hover over the picture,
In the drop down box click on IMG to copy
On a different screen ready to go,
Paste it on your Nomad post.
