Weather Underground shows the record low for La Paz on Feb 6 to be 48° in 2007.
When I got up this morning about 7AM, our outside reading showed 48°.
I think the world is run by C- students.

The reading comes from the La Paz airport actually at 5:42 am. Those of us close to the water are insulated by the Bay of La Paz. It's a bit spooky
out there this morning, cool, everything closed... paranormal confirmations by DK, or is it just his post count that is abnormally low-spooky.
Of concern to me are our tomato, tomatillo, flowers and our local parrots. And the poor Ficcus, they do not like cold weather like this, I think we
could take a hard hit across the flora and fuana from last nights cold.

I thought I woke up in La Mision this morning!! BRR que frio!!! Waiting for the sun to go to work, then heading out to San Juan De La Costa. Should be
some good beachcombing after all this wind and swell the last few days.
Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands upon the wheel!

Tomatoes and Tomatillos are fine as long as they stay above freezing...some of my plants even survived the upper 20s this last autumn. Pretty sure
the Ficus can take the cold temps, depending on the variety---lots of Ficus growing in San Luis Obispo even, that far north.

Start>Programs>accessories>system tools>Character map
Find the º symbol, click on it, click select, then click copy and paste it where you want.
Edit to add, DK showed you an easier way.

One of the weather sites in San Felipe showed the low to be 34f the other morning, with another report of 29f on the beach there. I again say, so
much for global warming.

rancho la aguja temp
Yesterday morning the weather station showed 37º (thanks DK) - the lowest temperature in the 10 years we have lived on the ranch.
Interestingly, the highest temperature ever recorded was Feb 4th, 2005 at 41C/105.8F! Our hottest temps are always in a north wind in winter - the
wind is offshore and presumably arrives pre-heated.

Ah yes, the degree symbol. Been wondering how to do that as well. David, I tried your method as it would be the simplest, but it doesn't work on my
pooter. Next, I googled it and got the suggestion about "alt+0176" (not 0186) and releasing the alt key first, but that didn't work either. The next
suggestion was the character map as per BillP, and that of course works, just more cumbersome to get there.
Thanks all for the lesson this Sunday AM. Have a great S Bowl day. Steve

Kate, no swimming for a while, I guess.
It has warmed up nicely here in TS. 10 degrees early this morning but in the low 20ies most of the day and little or no wind.
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja
