Had the same problem...I changed the picture size to match the requirements here. I uploaded the picture to Flickr...did not work even when I used all their links. I ended up emailing the picture back to me, through flicker and then in the email body right-clicking on the picture and selected properties then I copied and pasted the address (URL) to the avatar section...

YES...I was not happy that he used my avatar.

I created it myself using an art program. I think we should all have our own exclusive avatars, just as we all have our own unique Baja monikers.

Thank You bajaking for removing it!

I could see getting peeved over being ripped off on that avatar. Heck, I know I'm not smart enough to even begin the process of posting my own avatar, so I'm doubly impressed.

And hats off to you, too, bajaking, for recognizing your error and apologizing, especially doing so publicly. Shows a lot of class.

OK, OK, jeezo - I was only trying to point out that a lot of folks just identify the poster by the avatar and when I saw Amo's being used I thought others might be doing the same double take. And in this case, it really is a pretty cool one and of course, Amo and his avatar go back to the the days when Thursday night was a pretty big deal what with the week's fishing report getting posted and all. Now you could check in once a month and stay current....

Bajaking,

Your avatar of Isla de Caballo is a good one. Makes me feel at home.

Santiago, I remember those Thursday nights.

And regarding poster i.d., I guess one could much more easily identify me by my (newest) avatar as compared to my previous one (dead donkey heads).

A simple mistake Bajaking. Not a big deal.

Took me a while with the avatar and to post, and then to post multiple pics. I added brain cells for sure. Download Photobucket and go back to Nomad instructions and requirements.
