Nothing here anymore...Gone with the Wind.

This thread ...and the future one.. is dead...killed by bad manners and small minds. Whatever happened to civility on this forum? If this trend of sarcasm and insults on Nomads has become so commonplace and continues to be accepted, then I will gladly quit.

Thanks the Gods that there are folks not rotting away in their easy chairs. My horned hat is off to this group of "go getters" of life.

Pompano is a great PR guy too......wish I had him back in the 80-90's for my clubs!

Marty..oh, I've seen a few scattered around the globe in certain 'hotspot areas'. As for our resident hippie population in Baja..well, it's kinda like this...

..Baja has been has been hanging out with the hippies since the 60's.

I'm damn proud to call lots of them amigos.

woody... I have known a lot of these Baja 'ol timers for a long, long time. I daresay they did..and still are doing...a helluva lot more than you seem to think. I doubt you have anywhere near the years of experience these people have in Baja. And I got to give you a little warning....some of these old timers are kinda rough around the edges and not exactly pacifists.

Rudeness is a weak man's imitation of strength. Do you also disrepect your parents and grandparents with such statements?
If so, I urge you to feel free not to read any future posts I may make about Baja 'ol timers....such as myself. I'm really older than dirt, y'know and relatively harmless. :saint:

some enterprising mexican could make good money opening a shop in mulege to sell XL and XXL hawaiian shirts, tie-die t-shirts, cargo shorts and mens pony tail scrunchies; and capri mom jeans.

before you flame me, lighten up a bit. i wear HI shirts and cargo shorts (thank god my little woman doesn't wear mom jeans)

Morning Mike...I got pyssed at the same old boring peanut gallery crap on Nomads...so I deleted the thread. Why let anyone make fun of friends?

Look for a copy in my post about Strange Lady's skipper.

Say a prayer to the wind gods and let's all get out for some fishing soon!

I wouldnt let a few here dictate to whether you post pictures or not. We "the majority" enjoyed the pictures.

mcfez...nobody has 'dictated' anything to me for a long, long time. I am just a little old-fashioned about manners and I make my own decisions.

i'll say it again.

Sorry. if i offended you or your friends. it was not my intention.

i guess humor is not one of my strong attributes.

and, not that it really matters, but maybe re-read both sentances i wrote, not just the one that set you off. here it is....

"at least they all got a smile on their faces! it's all that counts.:light: "

either way...

Roger, you bring a lot of joy and happiness to countless folks... Far more than the few of us who post on this forum or who are even registered here.

Please do not let the few idiots who post crappolla chase you away or cause you anger... They have tried for eons of Nomad years to chase me off... Don't give them that kind of power. If someons doesn't like what is posted on a open to the public forum, then they don't need to read it.

Thank you for all your contributions here... You do a fantastic job of showing Baja and your other travels.

Please never stop!:light:
