La Paz 476 anniversary Wine & Food tasting




Event: FOOD & WINE TASTING + STATE ORCHESTRA CONCERT
Where: at Jardin Velasco, in front of the cathedral, La Paz BCS
When: Wednesday May 4th, from 5pm to 8pm
Why: festivities of the celebration of La Paz 476 anniversary
Who (food): Tre galline, Trocadero, Buffalo bbq, Tres Virgenes
Who (wine): Baron balche, L.A. Cetto, Bibayoff, Alximia
Cost: $200.00 pesos for food and wine, concert is free

Spend a nice evening walking around jardin Velasco in front of the cathedral, sampling some of the best restaurants in town, plus some of the best wineries in Mexico. Finish your evening with a nice old Mexico music concert by the state orchestra. For $18 dllrs, it doesn't get better than that.

By the way, if you like a particular wine, you can buy directly from the producer at winery prices.

pls don't rub it in... La Paz is my fav city in all baja.
when my current assignment completes this summer after a full year in the salt mine....i plan to do a grande tour de baja by plane with stops only where i can enjoy luxury hotels and fine dining/drinking. Several days in your neck will be part of this early fall itinery - and an evening at your place will finally be realized.
