Chile Cookoff in Ensenada Sept. 18!


28th Annual J.D. Hussong Baja International Chili Cookoff & 12th Annual Salsa Contest

On Saturday, September 18 from noon to 6pm, enjoy an afternoon of chili and salsa contests, regional foods, arts & crafts exhibitions, chile eating competitions and live entertainment at the oldest chili cookoff in all of Mexico held at Quintas Papagayo Resort, 1.5 miles north of Ensenada at Km. 108 Carr. Tijuana-Ensenada. General admission ($10dlls.) includes raffles, chili and salsa tasting, and 5 coupons good for beverages or regional food samples. Proceeds benefit CRREAD, a non-profit Drug & Alcohol Abuse Rehabilitation Center.
