Santiago,

Thanks for the morning laugh/coffee snort.

We're going to the Live Oak Music Festival this weekend, then to Baja. Live Oak is nothing like Burning Man, there's no desert involved...http://www.liveoakfest.org/pp/index.shtml

Everybody, within reason, should experience Burning Man first hand. It is not possible to gain insight about it from somebody who has not been there.

Been there, done that.....still washing playa dust out of everything.............

Still too many dopers (grass, hash, cocaine, pills, mushrooms, LSD) ...........and nekkid people who should invest in clothes .

Burning Man is a commercial venture that gets rich off of other peoples stupidity, and condones the use of illegal substances.............

Yes, it's all that - and more! I didn't see any cocaine there though.

all very interesting, and phunnie!:lol::lol::lol:

i have friends going in 2 large diesel pusher mohos. trailering motos etc.
they know how to party! and cost is no object to them....

was thinking about flying in and hooking up with them as they open a strip just for the event.

3 years ago or so the BBP did a group fly in and stayed 2 nites camping with the planes - their pix and trip report was pretty awesome.

i don't do the dope thing but people watching and a bin full of loonies is always a riot!
so we'll see.:O:O

The biggest danger about going is dealing with all the planning for going again the next year.

I'll buy into the idea that it has become a cash cow for some corporate interest.

However, using illegal substances is something that seems to happen everywhere.

Been to a concert lately?
