Would'nt you know it. First heavy clouded morning in Pescadero since we've been down, but nice and warm and the sounds of the waves crashing isn't bad. At all.

It was about 75% complete when the moon set over here, so no totality for us, being a bit farther east.

i'm using a free program called Stellarium. now that it is too light to see the eclipse the moon is just half way below the horizon.

pretty cool from my bedroom window here in Loreto. I could peek out off and on from under the covers. there was just a little too much cloud cover over the mountains just at full eclipse time though.
