Best Chinese Food in Mexico is...your vote??
My vote for the best Chinese food is in Mexicali. While married to my ex, who was born in Mexicali, we spent alot of time driving La Rumorosa and
eating at the Chinese Restaurants in Mexicali...fantasticos!! My vote in Ensenada is at Cabana del Dragon...!!!

Mexicali Chinese food is the best, second only to Won Kok in L.A.'s Chinatown.

On Chinese food:
"Anything that walks, swims, crawls, or flies with its back to heaven is edible."
I now own a cellphone with a can-opener attachment.
That covers the food-category..what about wines?
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

I'm with you, Doctor!!! In the 13 years we lived in El Centro, we spent many hours in that fine Chinese restaurant, and others that I don't recall
off the top of my head, in Mexicali. There are litterally dozens of great restaurants in Mexicali, of all kinds, including Steak Houses. What a fun
city, and we went down at least twice a month back in the late '70's and all thru the '80's. I assume there even more by now.

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

My Chinese wife will not enter a chinese restaurant in Mexico. We have traveled in China but the only city she (we) enjoyed the food was in Shanghai.
We have been spoiled here in San Francisco.

Don't knock it until you've tried it...
There are plenty of Chinese down in Mexico who would call that discrimination...reminds me of Mexicans who are now American citizens who say they
would never go to Mexico...besides don't knock it unless you try it!! Quote: | Originally posted by Marc

Great restaurant concept. It worked for "Wings 'n Things" so, why not?

I've heard that before, but as "especially in China." Kinda like Mexican food....give me an "El Torito" over any Mexican restaurant in country any
day.
