Brrr! 44 degrees in Mulege.
According to wunderground.com a few minutes ago. It's warmer in San Diego - at least today.
I'm considering buying a place in BCS, but the weather is turning me off more than anything else. Too hot in the summer and not warm enough in the
winter.
We were in the Bahia Concepcion area this fall and sometime in October the weather changed from HOT, HOT, HOT to "jeez, where did I put my sweatpants
and heavy socks" in a matter of a week. It was like somebody threw a switch.
Too bad Hawaii is so far/expensive.
But we're looking forward to this spring in BCS, between the equinox and the solstice, should be perfect weather.
Right??
I'm wondering what the water temp in Bahia Concepcion will be in May.

Well that's more like it.
So when does the bay warm up to 75 degrees or so (between Santispac and Coyote)? I'm a swimmer/diver. I'll have my wetsuits with me but it's so much
better not needing them.

Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to bring my wetsuits AND booties/water shoes. Sting rays. Last trip I got stuck by one of those awful critters
through my water shoe on the side of my foot. Not bad tho, it would have been much worse barefoot.

SF N H please come check us out here on the other side of BCS too. not that the water temps are any different - warm in sept oct but cold the rest
of the time BUT our weather does not fluctuate either
about the same tem all year round except cold, only at night dec jan
our biggest complaint is wind which starts at 1 and ends at 5 (not during the winter tho'). and to us, that just means planning your day accordingly:
fish til noon !!!

You won't see 75 in the bay until late April or so depending on the year. I have spent many days diving around Concepcion in Feb, Mar and Apr and the
temp is usually high sixties to low seventies. If you venture outside la bahia the water will be substantially colder.I wear a full 3mm with a
lavacore top underneath, booties, gloves and hood. With that I can stay in the water for over an hour.

A chilly 45 here in La Paz early this morning. Once the sun rose, it took the edge off.

Yeah, I guess I am being too picky, picky, picky.
I've heard for years that Todos Santos has the best weather on the peninsula. 80s today??
Not enough beer??? Now that's scary.
