Exactly, how do you touch the guy when you are running away at full speed?

Have read posts here re: numerous weapons
to be used in Baja, I wonder how many
would hold up if questioned by Mex authorities,
after 1 used these on a Mex National,
gun, wasp spray, machete, baseball bat, flare gun,
etc. I remember reading a post about someone stopping
a robbery of some sort in TJ, the good samaritain
ended up serving time or making restitution to the
criminal. Answers to this ? is not readily obtainable
in Mex, I'm all for some sort of deterent

Without a MX gun permit for home defense, I wouldn't use a gun unless the perp had a gun -- and I had a permit.

I would not use a machete or baseball bat and don't carry them in my vehicle, or have them at home, though I could. Just not a weapon of choice.

Wasp spray sounds effective but don't carry that either.

I do have a flare gun in my vehicle and if I thought there was a lethal threat, would not hesitate to shoot someone in the face or chest to stop them -- and this would probably involve being in or around my vehicle to access the device. (Don't consider this weapon lethal though it could be, and my plan after shooting someone would be to run. I'm hoping to buy time?)

My weapon of choice is a knife. Again, the situation would have to be so serious that I felt I needed to stick someone to stop the situation from escalating.

Ideally, no body no crime.

If it came to defending myself or second guessing MX law, my choice is obvious.
